Hey Marcie. Ricky Sender here wishing you well and the happiest of b-days. I heard you were living in the San Francisco area. Are you still there? We left California a while back and are now living in Vegas.

Thank you for helping to take drugs off the street my friend. This is RICK Sender now living in Las Vegas after living in California for 30 years Married 54 years to a beach high graduate.

Allen and I were very close in high school.  he was probably one of the best athletes at Beach,  but people did not know that at that time.  He ran a six flat 50 yd dash  could hit up baseball a country mile and obviously excelled in tennis. 

my last memory was giving each other a huge hug at our last reunion.  

Terribly sad to see him leave us.   God bless you Allen 

Friends pass away, but memories live on. A really good pitcher until a shop accident cut this endeavor short. I watched as he ran through the open corridors of Beach High, holding his hand as blood was pouring out. A sad moment for me as a teammate. One of the sweetest people I've ever known. And he was so admired for the manner in which he handled this loss.

 I have not seen him since high school but the permanent smile on his face and his positive attitude will always remain with me. A  Truly shocking loss.
